این شرکت در سال 1976 با نام Multitech در تایوان تاسیس شد و در سال 1987 به Acer یا Acer Group تغییر نام داد.
شرکت پرآوازه ایسر هم، درباره لپ‌تاپ‌های گیمینگ مدلی را در چنته دارد به نام Nitro 5، که دارای کیفیت و قطعات سخت‌افزاری‌ای دقیق در خود جای داده است.
